Name & Referral Change Feature Now Live

We’ve introduced a new feature that allows operators to update customer details — including usernames and referral codes — directly from the Back Office.
This update is designed to give operators more flexibility when handling customer requests while maintaining strict access control.


⚙️ Who Can Use This Feature?

Currently, this functionality is restricted to users with the “Super Admin” role.
If you do not see this option in your Back Office, please contact your team’s Super Admin or submit a role request via Intercom.


🧩 What Can Be Updated

Operators with Super Admin permissions can now:

  • Change a customer’s username

  • Update or create referral codes

  • Adjust commission percentage for each referral code

  • Edit KYC information


🔍 Important Notes Before Making Changes

✅ Username Updates

  • Always ensure the new username is unique and not already taken.

  • You can check this manually by searching the username in the Back Office.

⚠️ Referral Code Changes

  • Do not modify existing referral codes.
    Updating or overwriting them can break existing referral links and affect tracking.

  • If a change is needed, please create a new referral code instead of editing an old one.

  • You can now set a specific commission percentage per referral code to better manage partner and affiliate structures.


💡 Best Practice

We recommend keeping a brief internal note whenever changes are made to user data — especially for usernames or referrals — to ensure transparency and consistency in customer records.
